Singapore Diary 4: Evening at Clarke Street

Named after Sir Andrew Clarke, the second Governor of Singapore, Clarke Street is one of the happening areas of Singapore with a lively night life. The night life is most visible on any Saturday evening.
The Clarke Bridge is one of the landmarks of the area where you can see people partying in the open all through the night.
We went for a few evening trip to the area.

An Indian fast food joint where you can enjoy some good rolls with beer.

Portrait painting in progress on the Clarke Street.

You can also view belly dancing on a Satuday evening in front of a Persian food joint called Shiraz. This is not a regular event; takes place sometime for promotional purpose.
