Singapore Diary 2: ISKCON Rath Yatra 2012

On 1st of July, ISKCON organized a Rath Yatra in Singapore. The Rath Yatra was held inside Toa Payoh stadium.

The Rath Yatra was followed by a traditional 'khichuri' prasad served by ISKCON.It was wonderful evening with a huge gathering of Oriya and Bengali faces.

Singapore Diary 1: Bedok Reservoir

During the initial few days of my stay in Singapore..i was put up at Bedok Reservoir View.
Bedok Reservoir View constitutes a set of apartment blocks built by Housing Development Board of Singapore (HDB).

Bedok Reservoir is a huge fresh water body just across the street from Bedok Reservoir View.It is mostly used by joggers and cyclists. Water sports like rowing is also being held.

One day in the evening I went for a short stroll around the reservoir. Here are a few clicks which were picked up on the way. The date was 15th of June, 2012.
